Scope and Contents

Handwritten and signed letter, dated 9 Nov. 1901, and addressed to Barton O. Aylesworth. Bancroft writes about where biographical information can be found on him. He also states were reviews on his works have been printed. Also included is a clipping from a magazine which presents a biography and a portrait of Bancroft. With the collection is the envelope in which the letter was sent.
